The latest version of Workshare is Workshare 9.5, but you can still get the latest update for Workshare 9 if you're unable to move to Workshare 9.5.

The latest update of Workshare 9 is update 7b (build 9.0.0.7720) which was released on 23 March 2017.

    How to get it

    You must have Workshare 9, Professional 9, Compare 9 or Protect 9 installed in order to install this update.

    By clicking the link above, the Workshare.Update.Bundle executable will download. You should run this executable to install all relevant updates. Find out more in the Workshare 9 Installation Guide.

    To extract the update files from the Workshare.Update.Bundle.exe

    1. Create a folder on your computer to store the files. 
    2. Save the attached executable into the folder you created.
    3. Open the MS-DOS command prompt (Start>run>cmd) and navigate to the folder you created.
    4. Run the layout command on your bundle: Workshare.Update.Bundle.exe /layout
    The following files will be extracted to the folder:
    • Workshare900-Update.msp: Updates Compare/Protect/Professional
    • WorkshareCompareForPowerPoint.msi: Updates Compare for PowerPoint only
    • Workshare.Desktop.msi: Updates the Connect desktop app only
    • Workshare.Outlook.msi: Updates the secure file transfer functionality in Protect
